Festival of light and colors

Diwali is one of my most favorite festival. I like to wear Indian outfit and decorate my house with light and lot of colors.We make varieties of food and serve to God in a form of " Annkut".

This is a Hindu folk art ,Know by the the name of Kolam,Alpana,Madana and Aripana. It is decorated on enterances ,doorways and walls during Diwali.

Diwali in US:

Diwali being a festival of light, in my traditional decoration i use conventional light small clamp ( divas ) in one corner.
